Arthritis At Home – Yoga with Ellen: Head, neck, and upper back

Research shows that exercise and physical activity play important roles in managing arthritis symptoms and improving physical health and mental well-being. Exercise helps maintain joint mobility by promoting blood flow to the joints, which delivers essential nutrients and reduces stiffness. It also triggers the release of endorphins and dopamine, which are natural pain-relieving chemicals in the body.

To help kickstart your exercise goals for the year, we are sharing Part 1 of the #ArthritisAtHome Yoga with Ellen series.

In this episode, ACE’s Programs Coordinator Ellen Wang, takes the audience through a 20-minute yoga practice that is focused on carefully articulating the head, neck, chest and upper back. Learn to ground deeply, set an intention for your practice and breath into unexplored areas in the body. Ellen combines her knowledge of human anatomy and yogic philosophy to take the audience through a mindful and accessible practice for all levels. All you need is a chair and strap/band/scarf or towel. Get ready to tune into your body and mind.
