He has a conversation with Anita Chan, ACE's Director of Programs and Administration, about his rheumatoid arthritis journey. He also shares lifestyle tips for patients living with arthritis and discusses how he became a patient advocate.
About Michael Kuluva
Michael is a professional figure skater and fashion designer. He started skating when he was 8 and is a 2004 Major League Figure Skating Championship world bronze medalist. In 2009, Michael retired from figure skating and studied at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, where he founded the New York fashion label Tumbler and Tipsy. He was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis while completing his fashion program. Michael makes a point of including people with mobility challenges in his work and creating arthritis awareness through his work.
