New blog post from Joint Journeys, life with arthritis by Carrie: Transplant day

In her latest blog post, Carrie draws parallels between planting seeds in Spring and her own life. Like plants, she can get quite comfortable in situations where she feels confident and familiar with. When you transfer a plant to a bigger pot, it involves loosening the roots and removing the plant from its temporary home. With tenderness and intention, this can be done successfully, and your plant has a better chance of growing deeper and reaching higher.

“I’m reminded to imagine what even a small change can make. By loosening up my roots, I get a chance to re-evaluate where my purpose and where my strength comes from and perhaps sink deeper into a new knowing of who I am.” – Carrie
